The sE Electronics sE8V is a premium small-diaphragm condenser microphone that builds on the performance of the standard sE8 with a vintage-inspired voicing. While retaining the same low self-noise, fast transient response, and selectable -10dB pad and low-cut filter, the sE8V features a specially tuned capsule that delivers a slightly warmer, smoother high-frequency response. This makes it particularly well suited to sources that benefit from a more natural, less clinical sound, such as acoustic instruments, strings, piano, choirs, drum overheads, and stereo recording. Combining classic tonal character with modern performance, the sE8V is an excellent choice for both professional live sound and studio applications.
